Tenders Invited for London Highways Alliance Contract

The invitation to tender was dispatched to our 10 shortlisted contractors on target at the end of February, with tenders due to be returned on the 31st May 2012. This is a fantastic milestone and seems an age away from the Board receiving the business case and agreeing to progress a pan-London contract back in 2010

Bidders for new pan-London LoHAC contracts announced

Another milestone was achieved in January with the Programme Board receiving the results of the
Pre Qualification Questionnaire (PQQ) analysis, undertaken by the PQQ Assessment Team comp rising
Matthew Jezzard, RB Kingston-upon-Thames; Kevan Twohy, LB Bromley; Iona Good-child, LB C amden;
Dave Johnson, Steve Eggleton, John Nicholas, and Andrej Znak, TfL. The team recommended the following
10 contractors should be shortlisted to tender for the four area-based London Highways Alliance Framework........................

Seasons Greetings to you all.
When we look back over the last year we cant help but reflect on the tremendous progress made. This was probably summed up best by Matthew Lugg at the recent ROAD 2011 Conference, when he stated „I cant believe how far London has come over the last 12 months. It is also pleasing to note that based on our success, the Midlands Highway Alliance (MHA) is now looking to develop a maintenance Contract as part of its current suite of collaborative contracts.....
