TAG AGM, Presidents Dinner and Annual Conference 8th and 9th May 2017

The TAG AGM and Dinner will take place from 1730 on 8th May at Rubens Hotel 39 Buckingham Palace Road SW1W 0PS

The AGM Agenda, last years minutes and Dinner details are now attached, the timescale is 1730 for the AGM and the  Dinner will start at 1930 with drinks in the bar beforehand.

The TAG President's dinner is open to TAG members, retired members and associates on a first come first served basis. Menu now attached - please book as soon as possible through Alan Kraven or Andy Morris (see Contact us page) and confirm menu  choices by Friday 28th April at the latest.


The annual TAG Conference is to be held the next day at ICE headquarters 1 Great George St.

This is  an excellent forum for members and non members alike to get an update on current trends and to exchange information and ideas.

The theme this year will be Resilience and the conference will give a practical overview of key future trends and the steps network designers, operators and investors need to consider.  This includes:

·         Climate change and severe weather events affecting transport         resilience

·         Getting the best out of asset management to improve network resilience and capacity

·         Future technologies, from autonomous vehicles to new long life road designs

·         An increased reliance on accurate asset knowledge and dynamic performance.

·         How to consider previously underestimated risks from misinformation and terrorism

·         How to practically integrate future trends into current designs. 

The programme   provides delegates with an opportunity to understand future issues affecting transport networks in an urban environment and latest thinking and innovative ways to address them.  Presentations will include a range of practitioners in the public and private sectors.
